S.O. 430(E)  - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 15  read with sub-section (1) of section 17 of  the Forward Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1952 ( Act 74 of 1952),   and in partial supersession of the notification of the  Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Commerce and Industry number S.R.O. 248, dated the 25th January, 1955, in so far as it relates to entry 12 relating to Sugar, except as respects things done or omitted to be  done before such supersession, the  Central Government hereby declares that the provisions of   section 15 of the said Act,  shall apply to Sugar  in the whole of  India, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
